A family business providing free fundraising publications

What makes us different?

Like most of the charities we work with, our family business came to be because of a powerful personal experience.

Our much-loved husband and father, Bob Manifold, died in 1997. And thanks to our local hospice, he was able to stay at home with us, his family, throughout his illness. Their nursing care helped us look after him in the place he loved most. And they wrapped their arms around us too, giving us unwavering support. Our experience with the hospice was so powerful that two years later Majestic Publications was born.

In 1999, Liz Manifold, Bob’s wife, set out to help hospices raise more money to make sure other families like ours could feel safe, cared for and supported at one of the most challenging times of their lives. Since then, she has been joined by son, Jon, and daughter, Jane. Jane is the face of Majestic these days. She’s your first point of contact, the one who gets to know your charity inside out and is by your side throughout the process and beyond. You might spot her at a conference or delivering training too.

Liz’s drive and determination are still as strong today as they were over two decades ago, and her work ethic continues to set the bar high for us all. Her fierce dedication is the reason that we now work with every type of not-for-profit, big and small, local and national. From the Air Ambulance to NHS charities and Lions and Rotary clubs, we help them do even more for their cause.

A business with a purpose that goes far beyond profit

We’re still a family business to this day. And everything we do is guided by our original driving force: to give something back. To us, it’s Bob’s legacy. We put you, those who rely on your services and the people who help make it happen, at the heart of it all. Integrity, honesty, and complete transparency run through our partnership with you and the businesses we speak to on your behalf. We go beyond what’s expected, to help build lasting relationships between you and those keen to support your cause, so you can make an even bigger difference.

Helping you raise more money

Because we speak to several fundraising teams every day, we understand your challenges, stay on top of ever-changing trends, and spot opportunities. So we’re perfectly placed to help you deliver more. We’re committed to helping you make the most of your time and our insight to build new supporter relationships and bolster existing ones – and we support you long after your publication has been printed.

With confidence

More than two decades spent working within the third sector means we know the ins and outs of charity regulations, corporate partnership agreements, ethical policies and more. This expert knowledge underpins everything we do, and we share it with you, so you can be confident you’re always doing the right thing too.

By going the extra mile

And when we’re not sharing our insight, connecting you with supporters or getting your partnership agreements shipshape, you’ll find us trekking, climbing, running or (sometimes) drinking gin to raise money for the charities we’re proud to call clients.
